Robert Vernon Clark 83 of Corrigan passed away at his home on Wednesday September 23, 2009. Memorial services were held on Saturday September 26, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah''s Witnesses with David Stanley and James Comstock officiating.

Robert was born April 7, 1926 in Lufkin, to parents Bennie Clark and Ethel Lee Dunn Clark. He was a United States Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He also worked for over 40 years as a logger for the Champion Paper Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Dane Phillip Clark, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Stella Clark of Corrigan, children Charles Clark and wife Connie of Houston, Stella Lewis of Katy, Ruth Reese of Houston, James Clark of Las Vegas, Deborah Anderson Houston, Richard Clark of Seven Oaks, Robert Clark Jr. of Amarillo, and Patrick Clark and wife Connie of Lufkin. He is also survived by his sisters Betty Johnson and Doris Dodd both of Ft. Worth, and his 22 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
