Funeral services for Robert Gary Goodson, 77, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Gilbert Franke officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Big Sandy, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Goodson was born July 15, 1941 in Houston, Texas to parents, Robert Goodson and Faye (Anderson) Goodson, and passed away February 1, 2019 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Joyce Goodson of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Ramona Faye Warren and Kelly of Reddington Beach, Florida; son, Michael Larrison Jr. and Shonda of Cypress, Texas; daughter, Gwendolyn Charvat of Livingston, Texas; sister, Dolores Goodson Cheaney and James of Houston, Texas; and 4 grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
