A memorial service for Robert Edward Hess, 79, of Livingston will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Brad Butler officiating.
Mr. Hess was born on September 23, 1935 in Perry, Oklahoma to parents, Robert Martin Hess and Tessie Mae (Mash) Hess, and passed away on February 9, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he was an Eagle Scout, ran track and was a graduate of Kilgore High School and Rice University. He loved L.S.U. football, sailing, and working crossword puzzles. He was also a model railroad enthusiast and loved trains in general.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Hess of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Victoria Hess of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sons, Robert A. Hess of Dallas, Texas and Daniel E. Hess of Austin, Texas; sister, Elizabeth Anne Hess of Los Angeles, California; brother, Franklin Hess of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Ashley Hess and Alora Hess; along with other numerous family members and friends.
