Memorial services for Robert Gene Hunt, 66, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Frank Wallace officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service starts at 4:00 p.m.

Mr. Hunt was born October 28, 1951 in Ft. Worth, Texas to parents, Albert Eugene Hunt and Wanda Neil (Taylor) Hunt, and passed away January 6, 2018 in Liberty, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam combat medic. He worked as a paramedic and firefighter at Fire Station #5 in Ft. Worth for 11 years. He also worked as a paramedic in Houston for 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Ryan Hunt; brother, Jerry Hunt; and sister, Wanda Gene Hunt.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hunt of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Jennifer Hunt of Katy, Texas; grandsons, Joshua Hunt and Justin Hunt both of Katy, Texas; step-son, Byron Dunaway and wife, Jill of Livingston, Texas; grandsons, Mason Dunaway and Bryce Dunaway both of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter, Everly Dunaway of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Liam Dunaway of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Raymond Hunt of California, Douglas Lane Hunt of Texas, and Kevin Ray Hunt of Cypress, Texas; sister, Karen Renay Grant of Montgomery, Texas; and aunt, Bobbi Kenyon of Humble, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
