Funeral services for Robert Turner Hunter, 87, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. David Branson officiating. Interment will follow in Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Robert was born August 12, 1935 in Normangee, Texas, to parents, Henry Mac Hunter and Ocie Pearl (Grubbs) Hunter, and passed away November 26, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Odell Hunter; brothers, Travis Hunter, Curtis Hunter, and William Earl Hunter; and sisters, Ruby Pearl Hunter, Ruthie Mea Nash, Gladys Tucker, and Bessie Singletary.

He is survived by his daughter, Clara Strapps; son Robert Michael Hunter; daughters, Teresa Barker and Sheila Rooker; sons, Marlin Hardy, Paul Hardy, and Billy Hardy; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers: Rick Dykes, Kevin Barker, Michael Shane Hunter, Tyler Hunter, Andy Barker, and Billy Hardy.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jeremey Hunter, Nickolas Hunter, Charlie Cantrell, and Chance Cantrell.
