He was born December 31, 1937 in Pomona, California the son of Oliver Lair and Nola Bryant Lair.
He is survived by his wife Avis Lair, of Livingston, Texas, Sam Lair, son of Boise, Idaho, Dixie Lair, daughter in law of Boise, Idaho, Luci Walker, sister of Tampa, Florida, Angie Lair, niece of Topeka, Kansas, Debbie Mizel, niece, of Oceanside, California, Duane Walker, nephew of Davie, Florida, Mark Walker, nephew of Florida and Athena Lair, granddaughter of Boise, Idaho.
