Funeral services for Robert (Bob) Perry Hill age 84 of Point Blank, Texas were held Thursday October 21, 2010 in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas at 2:00 PM with the Rev. James Frazier officiating and interment followed in the Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas.

He was born April 17, 1926 in Coleman County, Texas the son of Robert Lewis Hill and Gertrue Bingham Hill and passed away October 17, 2010 in The Woodlands, Texas. He retired from the construction arena in 1984, relocating to Point Blank where he began the Hills Welding Service on HWY 190. He was a very diversified man; he volunteered with the Rural Emergency Medical Service in Point Blank for 10 years, and many patients experienced his kind and giving nature. Bob was also a Master Mason, a 32nd Degree Scottish rite, also a member of the Shrine Arabian Temple of Houston. Bob was a life time member of the Portage Order of the Eastern Star where he served as the Worthy Patron.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Bacon Hill, his sister Ola Francis Taylor, and brother Herbert Howard Hill and six daughters; Rhonda Kay Wright, Donna Gay Hill, Linda Haen, Susan Simmons, Theresa Megan, and Jean Campbell. There are nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends that also survive him.
