Memorial services for Robert Lawrence Phillips, 71, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holiday Village Clubhouse in Point Blank, Texas.
Mr. Phillips was born July 7, 1945, to parents, Robert Phillips and Jean (Leisure) Phillips, and passed away on May 8, 2017, in The Woodlands, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Army in the First Calvary Army Medic Core during Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Edith M. Phillips of Point Blank, Texas; sister, Yvonne Campbell and husband, Steve of St. Louis, Missouri; brother, Terry Phillips and wife, Kaye of Murphy, North Carolina; brothers, Donnie Phillips, Dennie Phillips, and Jack Phillips all of Murphy, North Carolina; 1 son and daughter-in-law; 2 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
