Memorial services for Robert Dean Ward, 77, of Shepherd, Texas will be held October 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Family Life Church in Goodrich, Texas.

Mr. Ward was born July 8, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and opened his eyes in the arms of Jesus on September 11, 2021. He was a past Commander of the Livingston American Legion and a proud Navy Veteran who served in the Cuban Blockade. He was a founding member of the Tabernacle of Refuge Church in Leggett, Texas. Bob was a master brick and stone mason. He competed in pro sport fishing tournaments across the country and was an avid hunter. He was a proud Blackfoot-Cherokee and most of all a proud American, He is preceded in death by his beloved mother and stepdad, Mary and Dave Parker; grandparents, Bob and Mary Ward; and sisters, Deedee Adair and Kelly Ward.

Mr. Ward is survived by his adoring wife, Angelique Ward; beloved son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Crystal Robertson; son and family, Sam and Angela Gimnich, Matthias, Gabriel, and Elise; daughters, Dianna Jones and Lanise Ward; sons, Bob Ward II, Dustin Ward, and Dakota Ward; beloved sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Rob Walker and family; brothers, Bob Ward and Rod Ward; cousin, Leslie Darwin and family; along with numerous much loved church family, many relatives and friends.
