Rodney Dale Gibson, age 58 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2012, in Lufkin, Texas. He was born on December 17, 1953, in Cleveland, Texas to Joyce Lively.
He is survived by three daughters, Wendy Chandler or Onalaska Texas, Crystal Gibson of San Angelo, Texas, and Brandy Clowers of Dayton, Texas; seven grand children, Danielle Gibson, Chelsea Gibson, River Chandler, Cheyenne Johnson, B.J. Johnson, Cherokee Johnson, and Brady Chandler; one great-grandchild, Abraham Gibson; sister, Lynn.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Onalaska at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 24, 2012, at First United Pentecostal Church in Onalaska, Texas. Rev. William Mikesell and Rev. J.D. Cooley will conduct the service. Following the service, interment will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Pallbearers are Jeremy Biggs, Doug Pruiett, Joey Smith, Jerry Sharband, Darren Barringer, John Hammer and Ron Gilbert.
