Memorial services for Rodney Carlos Smith, 78, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church Livingston in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Kevan Wood and Bro Robert Murphy officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., at the church.

Rodney was born February 15, 1947 in Sweetwater, Texas and passed away February 27, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delton Carlos Smith and Leonnie Jo (Nichols) Smith; and daughter, Kylie Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith; daughters and sons-in-law, Lauri and James Henagan, Jana and Danny Pruett, Whitney and Kelly Lahr; grandchildren, Stetson Henagan, Lane Lahr, Avery Pruett, Bristal Lahr, and Ashlynn Pruett; sister, Ricki Smith Green; nieces and husbands, Kimberly and Terry Truett, and Keri and Brent Keathley; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
