Roger Dale Maxey, 71, of Livingston, Texas was born February 25, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee to parents Arlee Maxey and Clara (Montgomery) Maxey and passed away January 28, 2021 in Lufkin, Texas.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  Roger is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Barney Maxey and Billy Maxey; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Cecil Joyner.

Roger Dale Maxey is survived by his wife, Lynda (Hopson) Maxey of Livingston; daughter, Mary Reyes of Onalaska, Texas; daughter Julie Harless and John of Livingston, Texas; sister, Peggy Clayton and Ernie also of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Marilyn Mitrius, Hazel Parks, both  of Memphis Tennessee, and Ann Ward of Tunica, Mississippi; grandchildren, Joshua Hartman, Nick Hartman Elijah Harless, Felix Rodriquez, and Hope Flores; 8 great-grandchildren; along with numerus nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
