Obituary
Memorial services for Roger Lee McNiel, 51, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Joshua Cathey officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Roger was born February 8, 1966 in Winnsboro, Louisiana, to parents, Bobby Eugene McNiel and Melba Dolores (Stewart) McNiel, and passed away on May 9, 2017, in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father; brother, James McNiel; niece, Kristy Nettles; and great-nephew, Michael Ashton Nettles.
He is survived by his mother, Melba McNiel of Delhi, Louisiana; son, Matthew Evesson of Livingston, Texas; son, Jeremiah Evesson of New York; daughter, Christina Evesson of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Joseph and Alex Evesson, and a bundle on the way; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Chuck Broussard of Livingston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Delton Antley of Delhi, Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, Darren and Glenda McNiel of Livingston, Texas; and close friend, Kim Snook of Livingston, Texas; along with multiple special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
