Rogers Herndon Marsh Sr., 85, died on the evening of April 1, 2013. He was born on May 19, 1927, in Leggett, Texas, to the late Manton and Ruth McCormick Marsh.

Rogers was a Korean war veteran and retired in 1981 after a long career as a manager at Southwestern Bell Telephone in Houston. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Helen; three children, Susie Carraway and her husband Harvey, Roger H. Marsh Jr., and Kathy Nail and her husband Mike; three grandchildren; three brothers; four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one grandchild.

Rogers is buried in the family plot in Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 11:AM at Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
