Roland Nickson Cain 86, of Segno passed away Saturday May 10, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be Monday May 12, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Murphy and Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Hill Cemetery in Segno. Visitation will be Sunday May 11, 2008 at Cochran Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 10:00PM.

Mr. Cain was born December 6, 1921 in Segno to parents William Nickson Cain and Maude Lillie Williams Cain. He graduated from Big Sandy High School in 1940.

He is survived by his wife Vernell Kimes Cain of Segno, sons Roland ""Nicky"" Nickson Cain of Pilot Point, and Richard ""Dicky"" Hal Cain of Moss Hill, and daughter Debra Elene Cain Bailey of Livingston, and his brother V.A. Cain of Hemphill. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Cain, Scott Cain, Wes Morgan, David Slater, Jeff Cowling, Steven Cowling, Michael "" Chad"" Velar, Brad Gay, and Mike Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be Forrest Brackin, David Adock, Barry Hargraves, Roy Duncan, Oliver ""Preacher"" Simpson, and V.A. Cain.
