Obituary
Graveside services for Roland Norman Cummings, 85, of Goodrich, Texas, will be held Monday, June 8, 2015 at 2:15 p.m. in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas with Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568.
Mr. Cummings was born February 10, 1930 in Groton, Connecticut to parents, Norman Cummings and Lena (Wood) Cummings, and passed away at home on June 3, 2015 in Goodrich, Texas. During his life, he served his country in the Unites States Air Force and was a Korean War veteran. He was a life member of the VFW Post# 8568. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cummings of Goodrich, Texas; step-daughter, Julia Ziegler; brother, Milton Cummings; sister, Shirley O'Rourke; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the VFW Post #8568; 3916 US HWY 59N; Livingston, Texas 77351.
