Ronald Shane Brown was pronounced dead on December 18, 2023 in Uvalde, Texas.  Shane (as he was known by those closest to him) came into this world in Houston, Texas on February 21, 1975 and lived to be almost 49 years of age.

Shane was a graduate of Tenney High School and attended college in Lafayette, Louisiana.  He eventually settled in Leakey, a part of the Texas Hill Country, which he thought was beautiful.  He struggled with conventionality in life but the one thing he did easily was love.  He was a very caring person and the greatest joy in his life was his family.

He is survived by his children, Harry, Nash, Emily, Maggie, Ally, Lauren; and the mother of his children, Kelly.  He is also survived by his father, Ron; and his mother, Karen, but preceded in death by his brother Kevin.

Shane was kind, intelligent, personable, witty, easy-going and easy to love.  He will be missed by so many.
