Funeral services for Rose Marie Farris, age 68, of Goodrich, Texas will be held Monday September 7, 2009 at 10:00am in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, with Bro. David Jones officiating and interment to follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be Howard Hunter, Zachary Coldwell, Tommy Coldwell, Josh Farris and David Farris.

She was born September 22, 1940 in Union Church, Mississippi, the daughter of John Garland Farris and Lessie Mae Patterson Farris and passed away September 4, 2009 in Humble, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, John Garland Farris II and John Garland Farris III.

She is survived by Georgie B. & Howard Hunter, sister and brother in law of Goodrich, Texas, Kathy & Ernest Moore, sister and brother in law of Brookhaven, Mississippi, and David & Vicky Farris, brother and sister in law of Goodrich and numerous nieces and nephews.
