Memorial services for Rose Elizabeth Smith Jones, 89, of Onalaska, Texas will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at the Lakeway Baptist Church in Carlisle, Texas with Rev. Jerry Vincent, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Houston National Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was born on November 12, 1925 in Lawton, Oklahoma and passed away on October 29, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Sylvester and Lilly (Tooley) Smith; husbands, Cecil Herman Webb and Jackie A. Jones; son, Donald Gordon Webb; brother, Vergil Smith; grandchildren, Robin Rose Webb, Tina Ann Webb, Paul Dean Webb, and Donald Gordon Webb, Jr.
Rose is survived by her son, Earle Webb of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Carolyn F. Raines of Rapid City, South Dakota; grandchildren, Boyce Webb, Jr., Anthony Ray Webb, Patches Lynn Roland, Sherry Hoskins, Della Draper, Timothy Webb; a host of great-grandchildren; brother, B.J. Smith; sister, Betty June Swindle; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
