It is with tremendous sadness and heavy hearts we announce the death of our mother, Rosemary Matlock Eli. Rosemary was born in Corrigan, Texas on December 24, 1951 and passed away at her home in Livingston, Texas on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the age of 72 years.

She will be greatly missed. Our peace during this difficult time is in the knowledge that she is a child of God, saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We are comforted knowing that she is no longer burdened by the sorrows and troubles of this world, but is rejoicing at the feet of our Lord and Savior. Her death does not signify the end. It is just the beginning of her eternal life in Heaven.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Eli; parents, Homer Matlock and Louise Griffin Matlock; sisters, Joyce Jones and Wanda Lyles; and brother, Tim Matlock.

She is survived by her children, Laura Neuman Mainer and husband Tom, Jason Neuman and wife Kim, and Jenny Neuman; grandchildren, Lindsay Ferguson, Craig Ferguson, Tommy Mainer, Casey Neuman, Brady Neuman, and Drew Neuman; 6 great grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Parrish, Sarah Bourne, and Martha Matlock.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with interment to follow at Holhausen Darby Cemetery in Moscow, Texas. Preceding the funeral service on Sunday, April 21, 2024, visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
