Funeral services for Rosie Lorene Carroll, 99, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Beech Creek Assembly of God Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Don Goodwin, Bro. Anthony Rhodes, and Bro. Elvin Alston officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Hill Cemetery in Segno, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Carroll was born July 10, 1918 in Segno, Texas to parents, Amos Cain and Mary Thomas (Knight) Cain, and passed away January 13, 2018 in Cleveland, Texas. During her life, she attended the Segno School and finished at Big Sandy School after the consolidation. She married Harris Carroll on January 22, 1946 and he passed away on February 10, 2002. Rosie was a member of the Magnolia Hill Assembly of God Church and in her later years, a member of the Beech Creek Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harris Carroll; brothers, Lewis Cain, Sambo Cain, Arvan Cain, Ed Cain and Henry Cain; and sisters, Alberta Tanner and Jeanetta Cain.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Jerry Bowen of Segno, Texas; grandson, Jerry Wayne Bowen II of Segno, Texas; nephews, Leroy Tanner of Garwood, Texas and Charlie Cain of Splendora, Texas; 1 great-niece; and 2 great-nephews; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
