Funeral services for Ross Sterling Abbey, Jr., 61, of Livingston, Texas will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Indian Village Assembly of God Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Keith Tucker and Bro. Garreth Abbey officiating. Interment will follow at the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, December 9, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., at the church.

Ross was born February 4, 1963 in Houston, Texas and passed away December 5, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Sterling Abbey, Sr. and Ettie Mae Thompson; sisters, Kathy Butler and Patsy Flores; brothers, Larry Abbey and Stewart Abbey; and nephews, Dewayne Abbey and Augie Beene.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Abbey; daughter, Cordie Williams and husband Anthony; sons, Ross Abbey III and Ivan Abbey; daughter, Ariel Battise; son, Jalen Abbey; grandchildren, Kaiyah Abbey, Makenna Williams, Kiyaani Williams, Andrew Williams, and Brynden Torres; special granddaughter, Shanaya Poncho; sisters, Violene Beene and husband Billy and Susan Easley and husband Quana; brothers-in-law, John Butler and Edmund Flores; aunt/mother, Christine Poncho; and aunt, Diana Thompson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers: Duane Alec, Dustin Battise, Richard Thompson, Roddy Battise, Rob McCormick, Aleia Williams, Justin Poncho, and Colson Alec.
