Funeral services for Roy Burnett, 67, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Tony Moye officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Sandy Cemetery in Big Sandy, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Burnett was born March 25, 1948 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Buster Burnett and Mattie (Chatman) Burnett, and passed away August 19, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. He worked for Harrison Body Shop for 37 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie Burnett of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Darrell King and Jessie Waldrep; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Melissa King; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Shane and Jackie Burnett; daughter and son-in-law, Amie Ramirez and John Vittetoe; grandchildren, Taylor Wayne King, Macie King, Ashley King, Heaven Lee Burnett, Brittany Grace Ainsworth, Grace Lynn Burnett, Thomas Roy Burnett, Jesse James Burnett-Neff, Shane Jase Jaxson Burnett,J.D. & Shianne Sanchez, and Jason Waldrep; brother and sister-in-law, Coleman and Carol Burnett; sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Burnett and Clara Burnett; best friend for over 60 years, Eliga Burks; and numerous other relatives and friends.
