Obituary
Graveside services for Roy Norfleet Chenault, 86, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas with Chaplin Jason Sandefer officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
Mr. Chenault was born August 14, 1929 in Lamesa, Texas to parents, William Robert Chenault and Veru Chenault and passed away October 20, 2015 in Point Blank, Texas. During his life, he was a member of the Parkplace Lodge #1172 A.F. & A.M. in Houston, Texas for over 60 years. Roy was also a member of 32 KCCH Scottish Rite Valley of Houston, Texas, the Ariba Shrine Temple of Houston, Texas, IBEW# 66, and the Rosenberg Masonic Lodge #881 A.F & A.M. He was also a past Master of the Parkplace Lodge #1172 A.F. & A.M. and of the Rosenberg Lodge #881 A.F. & A.M. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Clayton Chenault; brothers, Jim Chenault and W.R. Chenault; and sister, Ginger Chenault.
He is survived by his daughter, Martha Smith of Point Blank, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Chenault, Brandon Higbie, and Jennifer Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Pierce, Allen, Max, Ethan, Noah, Haylee, and Ashlee; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
