Graveside services for Roy Lee Stanford Sr., 72, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Feagin Cemetery in the Hortense Community in Polk County, Texas with Bro. Steve Parker officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., before the service, in the Feagin Cemetery.

Mr. Stanford was born February 17, 1946 in Liberty, Texas, to parents, Chester Lee Stanford and Doris Maxine (McMillian) Woods and passed away October 4, 2018 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Chester Lee Stanford; brother, Howard Stanford; stepfather, Wallace Woods; and the love of his life, Jo Hayden.

He is survived by his mother, Maxine Woods of Livingston, Texas; son, Roy Stanford Jr. of Crandall, Texas; son, Ben Stanford of Angleton, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Chet and Christine Stanford of Kennard, Texas; daughter, Kendra Stanford of Willis, Texas; grandchildren, Kara Mathis, Trey Stanford, Daniel Stanford, Catelyn Stanford, Chance Stanford, Chloe Stanford, Madison Stanford, and Jonathan Stanford; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
