Obituary
Funeral services for Roy Warden, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Warden was born on July 18, 1931 in Deridder, Louisiana to parents, Matthew Warden and Josephine (Slaton) Warden and passed away on June 15, 2016 in Kingwood, Texas. During his life, Roy worked for Big Star as a butcher for 17 years. He also worked for Kroger in Houston for 23 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Roger Dale Warden; and brothers, Matthew Warden Jr., Carl Warden, and Claude Warden.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Warden of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Lisa and Eddie Stairs of Livingston, Texas; great-granddaughters, Annleise Dunsmore and Gabrielle Stairs both of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Pauline Stokes of Deridder, Louisiana, Jewell Powell of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Mary Nicks of Morgan City, Louisiana, and Juanita Gill of Deridder, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
