Mrs. Ardoin was born November 24, 1947 in Livingston, Texas to parents, John Wesley Green and Fannie Mae (Freeman) Green, and passed away July 14, 2018 in Huntsville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Edgar Washington Hyde; second husband, Sylvan Ardoin; third husband, James Whitmire; daughter, Katherine Lucille Hyde; brothers, Larry Green and Richard Green; and sister, Rosemary Fuller.

She is survived by her daughter, Edith Rountree and Clifton of Huntsville, Texas; daughter Rená Murray of Huntsville, Texas; daughter, Susan Flores and Rick of Pasadena, Texas; son, Michael Ellison and Kelly of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Tori Gongora, Zachary Ty Gongora, Alexander Trey Gongora, Louis Earl Castell, Kimberly Castell, Michael Todd Castell, Eddy Whitherspoon and Lindsey, Mariah Calderon, and Sophia Flores; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Johnson and Gene of Livingston, Texas; sister, Darlene Hock of Livingston, Texas; brother, Raymond Nichols and Malinda of Livingston, Texas; niece, Glenda Freeman; nephew, Charles Freeman; and numerous other relatives and friends.
