Obit for Ruby Loette Loftin

Funeral Services for Ruby Loftin, age 91 of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Internment will be held at Bluewater Cemetery in Polk County following the chapel service. Pallbearers are Mike Cromie, Jimmy Couch, James McAdams, Jake Johnson, Curt Loftin and Gary Plant. Visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 15, 2012, beginning at 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Mrs. Loftin was born on October 9, 1920, in Frankston, Texas, to parents, John Henry McAdams and Ila Hollingsworth McAdams. She passed away in Conroe, Texas, on June 14, 2012. Mrs. Loftin enjoyed participating in Tops and Red Hats. She also enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends.

Mrs. Loftin is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ila McAdams; husband, Perry Morgan Loftin; sons, infant Loftin, Ronald Morgan Loftin and Curtis Donald Loftin; brothers, Richard McAdams, Louie McAdams, Thurman McAdams, and Don McAdams; and sister, Kathryn Nickell. She is survived by granddaughter and husband, Carol and Mike Cromie of Santa Fe, Texas; grandson and wife, Curt and Rene Loftin of Conroe, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Shannon and Jimmy Couch of Houston; great grandson, Jake Johnson of Austin, Texas; great granddaughter, Abbey Johnson of Santa Fe, Texas; great grandson and great granddaughter, Scott Loftin and Sara Loftin of Conroe, Texas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Gail McAdams of Shepherd, Texas, Charles and Neta McAdams, Weldon and Linda McAdams; two sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie Smith of Houston, Texas and Linda and Gary Plant of Cypress, Texas; and daughter-in-law, Julie Loftin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations maybe made to American Cancer Society.
