Obituary
Funeral services for Ruby Lambright McEwin, 102, of Spring, Texas, will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Big Sandy Community Church in Big Sandy, Texas with Bro. Rex Hendrix officiating. Interment will take place in the Peaceful Gardens Cemetery in Woodrow, Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. McEwin was born March 1, 1915 in Athens, Texas to parents, Isaac Newton Lambright and Laura (Brown) Lambright, and passed away April 30, 2017 in Spring, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George T. McEwin; daughter, Velma Dean Brannan; son, Billy Royce Hughes; and 12 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Moss and Mickey; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Smith and Brad; son, LeRoy McEwin; granddaughter, Cathy Franklin; great-grandson Tim Carroll and wife, Tiffany; and 12 grandchildren; along with numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
