Funeral services for Ruby Moye Placker, 84, of Huntsville, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Riverside Baptist Church in Riverside, Texas with Rev. Jim Newton officiating. Interment will follow in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., before the service begins, in the Riverside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Placker was born September 18, 1935 in Winnsboro, Texas, to parents, Raymond Jones McLeroy and Ruby Montine (Johnson) McLeroy, and passed away January 21, 2020 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and best known as Mother, Granny, and GG. She was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church for 34 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, M.W. "Pat" Placker; and brother, James D. McLeroy.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn and Rick Smith, and Karen and Fred House; grandsons and wives, Kevan and Samantha Smith, Chris and Tori House, Shaun and Cassy House, and Barry and Sheila Weltz; granddaughters, Tracy Weltz and Rachel Smith; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jo Ledbetter; and sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Andrew Schroeder; along with numerous other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Riverside Baptist Church Building Fund, 2359 FM 980, Huntsville, Texas 77320.
