Obituary

Funeral Services for Ruby Elizabeth Schlottman, age 94 of Livingston, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael Miller officiating the services. Interment will follow in the Watson Ollie Dickens Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening beginning at 5:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

Ruby was born on August 10, 1917, in Polk County Texas, to parents, Thomas Watson Dickens and Ollie Virginia (Rhodes) Dickens. On December 14, 1935, she married her best friend, Paul Gus Schlottman in Dallas, Texas. On June 29, 2012, in Midway, Texas, she went to be with her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas W. Dickens and Ollie V. (Rhodes) Dickens; husband, Paul G. Schlottman; brother and sister-in-law, Watson Oliver and Dixie Dickens; sister, Neva Evon Dickens; brother, Floyd Thomas Dickens; nephews; Jimmy Doyle Dickens, Larry Carey, Dr. Mike Dennington and Ronald Paul Lee; nieces, Delores Stiesel and Belinda Page; brothers-in-law, Fred W. Grube, Sr. and Glennis Schlottman; sisters-in-law, Pauline Schlottman Corley and Mary Schlottman Peterson.
