Obit for Ruby Aline Smith
Funeral Services for Ruby Aline Smith, age 81 of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Rev. Mitchell Murphy will conduct the services. Pallbearers are Ray Smith, Chris Smith, Carl Smith, Leonard Tucker, David Clakley, Ray Clakley and Doug Robertson. Internment will be held at Camp Ruby Cemetery in Polk County, Texas, following the chapel service.
Ruby was born on May 4, 1931 in Beulah County, Mississippi, to parents, Carl Leonard Robertson and Ella Pearl Van Etten Robertson. She passed away on June 7, 2012 in Livingston.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, George C. Smith; her parents, Carl and Ella Robertson; sister, Beulah Mae Tucker; and Daughter-in-law, Shirley Smith. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Ray and Anita Smith and Carl Smith; two sisters, Frances Box and Catherine Clakley; one brother, Douglas Robertson; two grandchildren, Chris Smith and Jessica Harold; and five great grandchildren, Cadance Smith, Collin Smith, Jallisa Williams, Jaylen Harold and Noie Harold.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston.
