Ruth L. Tullos

A memorial service for Ruth L. Tullos, 97, of Trinity, Texas will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Trinity, Texas.

Ruth was born August 31, 1928, in Wharton County, Texas and passed away June 1, 2026, in Trinity, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Samuel B. Tullos; and parents, Thomas A. Lewis and Ruby Jewel Edwards Lewis.

She is survived by her sons, Jerome Tullos and Sharon of Trinity, Texas and Stanley Tullos and Jody of Spring, Texas; daughter, Bridgitt Martin and Elswood “Buddy” of Trinity, Texas; grandchildren, Kimberly Spillman and John, Michael Tullos and Stacey, Christopher Tullos and Stacey Lauger, Johnathan Tullos and Jessica, and Joshua Martin and Ali; great grandchildren, Brandi Budzise and Lane, Grace Tullos, Jordan Bond, Samuel Tullos, Sophia Valerie, and Harper Jo Tullos; great-great grandchildren, Bailey Jo Wheeless, Sterling Budzise, and Ryeland Budzise; sisters, Geraldine Calahan and Coleen Clem; and brother, Larry Wayne Lewis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
