Graveside services for Rufus "Buddy" Burks, 78, of Big Sandy, Texas, will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kyle Cemetery in Roganville, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Burks was born January 24, 1940 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Jessie Oliver Burks and Mollie (McGallion) Burks, and passed away June 27, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nelda Earline Burks; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.
