Obituary
Memorial services for Russell Ardell Barrett, 79, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 beginning at 6:00 P.M. at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Dean Boyd officiating. Military Honors provided by VFW Post #8568. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 beginning at 5:00 P.M. until service begins.
Mr. Barrett was born on October 2, 1935 in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania to parents, Ai Barrett and Minnie Ethel (Merrell) Barrett, and passed away on July 18, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Maurice Barrett, Jack Barrett, Merrell Barrett, and Harry Barrett; sons, Russell Barrett Jr. and Patrick Christian Barrett.
He is survived by his son, Pierre Barrett of New Castle, California; sisters, Edith David Melbourne, Florida, and Clara Wise of Santa Ana, California; brother and sister-in-law, Duane Barrett and Gloria of Livingston, Texas; sister-in-law, Arlene Barrett of Spring, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
