Russell M. Dunn age 89 of Onalaska passed away Saturday February 27, 2010 in Lufkin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 3, 2010 at 10:00AM in the First Baptist Church in Onalaska with Rev. Don Wilkey officiating. Burial will follow in at 2:00PM in the Houston National Cemetery. Military honors will be given at the church by Honor Guard VFW Post #8568.

Russell was born March 13, 1920 in Henning, Minnesota to parents William H. Dunn and LaVanche Bosingham Dunn. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a devouted member of the VFW Post 8562 Honor Guard, and his church. He also loved traveling and woodworking as a hobby.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Dunn of Onalaska, sons Ralph Dunn and wife Caroline of Onalaska, Dale Dunn and wife Linda of Canyon, daughter Mary Stewart and husband Lee of Palestine, and brother Dale Dunn of Riverside, Ca. he is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Doyle Morris Jr., Carl Stewart, Michael Facemire, Nicole Facemire, Kemal Farid, Emily Dunn, Randy Morris, Sherry Farid, Stephen Facemire, Kim McCollough, Christina Costlow, and Elizabeth McClure.
