Funeral Services for Russell James Pinckard, age 49, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 5:00 P. M., Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, Livingston, Texas. Bro. Chuck Hanley officiating. Interment will be in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Military Honors will be provided by the Honor Guard from Ft. Hood. Visitation is Monday, March 5, 2012, at 5:00 P.M.

He was born September 12, 1962 in Lorain, Ohio the son of Robert Carl Ashcroft, Sr. and Norman Jean (McMangle) Ashcroft and passed away March 1, 2012 in Livingston, Texas. He married his wife, Anita Pinckard on October 6, 1989, in Killeen, Texas. Russell was a veteran of the armed forces having served in the US Army; and at the time of his death was employed as a prison guard for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for over 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Carl and Norman Jean Ashcroft, Sr.

Russell is survived by his wife, Anita Pinckard of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Stephanie Pinckard of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Elizabeth Pinckard of Abilene, Texas; son-in-law, Joseph Roland Bordner of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter, Victoria Bordner of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter, Isabella Cortez of Abilene, Texas; sister and brother-n-law, Denise and Terry Swinney of Little Rock Arkansas; brother, Robert Pinckard of Texarkana, Texas; and brother, Ronald Pinckard; 7 nieces and nephews; and 7 great nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
