Ruth Virginia Cannaday age 91 of Goodrich passed away Thursday February 25, 2010 in Webster. Funeral services will be Monday March 1, 2010 at 2:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00AM until service time.

Ruth was born October 22, 1918 in Mt. Vernon to parents Jimmy Lain and Mattie Talbott Lain. She was a long time member of the Schwab City Baptist Church were she was very active in the Memory Makers.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Dieringer of Hitchcock, grandchildren Betty Jo, Beverly, John Jr., Mike, Keven, Chad and Wendy, great grandchildren Jonathan, Troy, Shane, Meredith, Chris, John III, Lisa, Chelsy, Matthew, Jacob, Isabella, Gabrial, Faith, Thomas, Megan, Robert, and Sophy, and her great great grandchildren Bryce, Madison, and Katelyn.
