Ruth Elizabeth McCracken of Livingston was promoted to Heaven at 6:39 AM on Friday, March 4, 2011, as a result of a stroke suffered on February 27, 2011.

Born February 28, 1923 in Derwent, Ohio she lived a full and productive 88 years. She and her husband lived in Florida for 34 years and they moved to Livingston in the spring of 2008 to be near her daughter Joan Reeves and her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mac, her parents, her son-in-love Jim Reeves from Livingston and many other family members.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Joan, 3 grandchildren, Jerry Reeves and his wife Susie; and Jason Reeves all of Livingston; 8 great grandchildren including Jerry' two daughters Bethany, Becky and her husband Sammy Pattillo and Jason' 3 children Sierra, James and Roper, and an expected great-great grandson due to Becky and Sammy on March 10 (all of Livingston). Ruth also leaves behind many extended family members and many friends.

She is a member of Faith Christian Center and her Pastor Randy Findley, will officiate her Memorial Service to be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 12, 2011 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston.
