Funeral Services for Ruth (Stutts) Parker, age 82, of Livingston, will be held Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating the services. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Pallbearers are Billy Stutts, T.B. Stutts, Jr., Lamar Ladner, Donnis Clifton, Cody Ladner, Michael Alger, Norman Owens, and Mike Ellis.
Ruth was born October 25, 1929 out in the Camp Ruby Community of Livingston, Texas the daughter of George ""Byron"" Stutts and David (Roberts) Stutts and passed away on March 24, 2012 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a member the American Legion Post #312 Ladies Auxiliary Unit 312 and a member of the First Baptist Church of Goodrich. Ruth worked for El Burrito Mexican Restraunt for 17 years and had many good memories there. She is preceded in death by her Parents, ""Byron"" Stutts and David (Roberts) Stutts; Husband, James L-Pete Parker; Grandson, Jason L. Ladner; Brothers, G.B. Stutts, T.B. Stutts, Sr., and Ray Stutts; Sister, Alma Clifton; and Nephew, Jimmy Clifton.
Ruth is survived by her Son and Daughter-In-Law, David and Marilyn Owens of Georgetown, Texas; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Verna and Bruce Alger of Lawton, Oklahoma; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Brenda and Fred, Jr. Brasher of Wallis, Texas; Brother, Oscar Edwin Stutts of Livignston, Texas; Grandchildren, Norman Owens, Angela Parker, Jenny and Collin Stanley, Christal and Dustin Upton, Cody and Molly Ladner, James-Michael Alger, Brad-Lee Brasher; Great-Grandchildren, Kaileigh McKelvey, Kinnley Parker, Ryleigh Upton, Kelby Upton, Carter Elizabeth Stanley, Blaine Ladner, Henrey Stanley, and Kelton Upton. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and special friends at El Burrito, also survive.
