Ruth Ann Wheelis, 76, of Onalaska, Texas was born August 20, 1942 in Morehouse, Missouri, to parents, William Franklin Gurley and Beatrice Helen (Mosley) Gurley, and passed away April 18, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, William "Bill" Wheelis.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Wheelis of Fargo, North Dakota; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Steve Walker of Groves, Texas; daughter, Melanie Greene of Onalaska, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Crystal Wheelis of Eustice, Florida; grandchildren, James Young and wife Michelle, Kristi Norman and husband Andrew, Joshua Patrick and wife Raquel, Brandon Greene, and Cody Greene; great grandchildren, Destiny Young, James Young Jr., Eli Norman, Reese Norman, and Annalynn Norman; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
