A memorial service will be held for Ruth Ann Winters, 94, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will take place on the day of service, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.

Ruth Ann was born August 6, 1930 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and passed away June 20, 2025, in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.A. Clark Jr. and Ruth Elizabeth (Gibson) Clark; son, Charles D. Winters; husband, Jacques M. Winters; and grandson, Kaleb Oates.

After marrying Jacques in 1952, Ruth Ann lived in Galveston and Houston, Texas, where she was a charter member of the St. Lukes Methodist Church. She also lived in Chittenango, New York, Jacksonville, Florida, and finally, Livingston, Texas. Ruth Ann taught school in Livingston. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Livingston where she participated in the Inspiration Sunday School Class and sang for 40 years in the choir. She also volunteered for the Girl Scouts and the Community History of Polk County. Ruth Ann was also a member of the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, where she served as Regent for a few years.

She is survived by her son, Jim Winters and wife Melissa; daughter, Diana Oates and husband Kenny; son, Clark Winters; daughter-in-law, Caroline Winters; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Beth Price and husband Anthony; and sister-in-law, Carol Ann Herzog; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
