Obituary
Funeral services for Sam Aubrey Morgan, Sr., 53, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Brother Dickey Boddie officiating. Interment will follow at the Center Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Morgan was born in Livingston, Texas on March 25, 1963 to parents Marshall F. "Buddy" and Genevieve (Randolph) Morgan and passed away on April 29, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Marshall Morgan, Sr. and Joseph Powell Morgan.
Sam is survived by his loving wife, Donna DeForest Morgan of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Linda Parrish and Hulon of Leggett, Texas; brother, Frank Morgan and Terry of Leggett, Texas; sons, Sam A. Morgan, Jr. and Ashley of Colmesneil, Texas, Colby J. Morgan and Christina of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Samuel A. Morgan of Corpus Christi, Daniel F. Morgan of Leggett, Texas; step-daughter, Rachel Card and Donny of Grenada, Mississippi; step-son, David Thorn and Rachel of Senatobia, Mississippi; step-daughters, Leslie Garcia and Drew of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Ashley Garcia and Joey of Cathedral City, California, Jasmin Garcia Lopez and Marisha of LaQuinta, California; step-son, Justin Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas; 14 grandchildren along with numerous family members and a host of friends.
Mr. Morgan will be escorted to his grave by Pallbearers: John Morgan, Jr., David Hunter, Jarred Parrish , Gregory Parrish, Christopher Parrish, Joey Johnson, Jonathan Morgan, and Andrew Arrisola.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy Morgan, J.E. Bennett, Tommy Nesmith.
