Sarah Estell Duke, 82, of Leander, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Floresville, Texas.

Born on April 28, 1943, Sarah lived a vibrant and adventurous life. Alongside her beloved husband of 63 years, Ronald C. Duke, she traveled across the United States in an RV, embracing the beauty of nature and the thrill of adventure. Together, they explored gold mining, scuba diving, and off-road racing—living life to its fullest and savoring every moment.

Sarah was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband Ronald; her daughters Sheila L. Pool and Melinda D. Dowhan; her grandchildren Sheila, Tabatha, Ashley, Sarah, Dalton, and Kaela; and her great-grandchildren Seth, Mattie, Cohen, Sophia, Isa, Emilia, DJ, Sadie, Sariya, Lyla, Max and Roman. She is also survived by her siblings Patricia and Pete. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald C. Duke Jr., and her sister, Sheila Jan.

No service will be held at this time, in accordance with her family's wishes.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Trinity Hospice Care of San Antonio for their exceptional compassion and care during Sarah's final days. Your kindness and dedication meant so much when her family could not be present. You are truly a godsend.

Sarah's strength, joy, and adventurous spirit will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
