Funeral services for Sarah Louise Gingise, age 78 of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Pastor Joe McDonald to conduct the services. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Sarah was born in Logan, West Virginia on January 24, 1934 to parents Fred Elkins and Ada (Rose) Elkins. She married Franklin Thomas Gingise on June 16, 1952, in Logan, West Virginia.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ada Elkins; husband, Franklin Thomas Gingise; sister, Carrie Minton; and brother, Henry Elkins. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Gingise of Kingwood, Texas; daughter Karen Patterson of Kingwood, Texas; son, Thomas Gingise of Kingwood, Texas; brother, Fred Elkins, Jr. of Lake City, Florida; brother Bill Elkins of Ocklawaha, Florida; grandchildren, Gary Stewart, George Stewart, Barbara Cheslak, Sarah Patterson, Michelle Patterson, Ellen Grimes, Tommy Gingise and Bobby Gingise; great grandchildren, Dallas Stewart, Taelor Grilz, Logan Stewart, Tanner Stewart, Kaidence Stewart, Mason Cheslak, Mikey Patterson, Mark Madigan, Jackson, Cheslak, Tristen Cheslak and Austin Stephenson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: G. T. Stewart, George Stewart, Tommy Gingise, Bobby Gingise, Dallas Stewart, Mikey Patterson, mark Madigan, Leo Mendez, Jr. and Scott Mendez.
