A graveside service will be held to honor Sarah Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Sarah Elizabeth Pridgen Mangham, 51, of San Antonio, Texas, was born on January 21, 1974 in Woodville, Texas, and passed away on February 8, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Pridgen; her grandparents, Clarence and Adderie Pridgen and J.C. and Willie Coker.

Sarah is survived by her son, Brent Mangham of Kyle, Texas; her son's father, James Mangham of Kyle, Texas; her mother, Carol Pridgen of Livingston, Texas; her sister, Jo Ann Pridgen of Livingston, Texas; and her nephew, Joshua Pridgen of Livingston, Texas; as well as numerous other loved ones and friends.

Sarah loved fishing and riding horses. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Business Degree in May 2000. She worked as a financial specialist in the Buda, Austin, and San Antonio areas. In June of 2011, Sarah was sworn in as the first woman mayor of Buda, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bold Springs Cemetery Association or Bethel Baptist Church.
