Obituary
Funeral services for Scott Sloan, 42, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Baker Ranch Arena in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Tim Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Victory Place Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Scott was born on January 20, 1973 to parents, Dwayne Keith Sloan and Deborah Gail (Burwell) Sloan, and passed away on January 27, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. He is survived by his father, Keith Sloan of Onalaska, Texas; mother, Debbie Sloan of Livingston, Texas; son, Spur Sloan of Montgomery, Texas; sister, Deena Galloway of Livingston, Texas; brother-in-law, Jeff Galloway of Livingston, Texas; nephews, Austin and Cole Galloway both of Livingston, Texas; grandmother, Lona Burwell of Bastrop, Texas; grandmother, Helen Sloan of Woodville, Texas; uncle, Randy Burwell of San Antonio, Texas; uncle, Brant Burwell of Omaha, Nebraska; uncle, Dale Sloan of Ft. Stockton, Texas; aunt, Dixie Bowers of Woodville, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
