Services for Senaida Gonzales Powers, 85, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston.

Senaida was born June 5, 1937 in San Benito, Texas and passed away March 1, 2023 in Livingston. She is preceded by her parents, Juan Erevia Gonzales and Guadalupe Garcia (Duenez) Gonzales; husband of 64 years, Richard Chester Powers; siblings, Pilar Duenez Atkinson, Conception Duenez Trevino, Herminia Duenez Phipps, Antonio Duenez, Ernesto Gonzales, Aurora, Alberto Gonzales, Federico Gonzales, Francisco Gonzales, and Enrico; and great granddaughter, Faith Nichole Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lynn Powers and husband Alvin Lewis of Livingston, Texas; son, Richard Chester Powers, Jr. of Onalaska, Texas; grandsons, Michael Madison Johnson and wife Pam of San Angelo, Texas, and Jacob Ray Johnson and wife Kayla of Ingleside, Texas; great grandchildren, Crystal Rayne Johnson of Leesburg, Virginia, Bryce Leslie of Livingston, Texas, and Jacob Ray Johnson Jr., Dylan Robert Johnson, Alexzander Cole Johnson, and Elizabeth Grace Johnson, all of Ingleside, Texas; and brother, Martiano Macario Garcia Gonzales of San Benito, Texas; as well as numerous other loved ones and friends.
