Graveside services for Shannon Ann Sims, 63, of Sugar Land, Texas, will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery located at 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., Rosenberg, Texas 77471 with Rev. Neil McClendon officiating.

Mrs. Sims was born April 10, 1956 in Huntsville, Texas, to parents, Raymond Skains and Martha Nell (Langley) Sims, and passed away October 2, 2019 in Kingwood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Skains; and father-in-law, Jesse Sims.

She is survived by her husband, William "Laney" Sims of Sugar Land, Texas; daughter, Martha Phillips and husband Ethan of Richmond, Texas; son, Benjamin Sims of Dayton, Ohio; mother, Nell Skains of Huntsville, Texas; mother-in-law, Betty Sims of Onalaska, Texas; sister, Wendy McLeod and husband David of Huntsville, Texas; brother-in-law, Barry Sims and wife Trena of Odessa, Texas; grandsons, Samuel and Jackson Phillips; nephew, Jared Sims; niece, Sarah Lynch; and many other loving family members and friends.
