IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sharon Virginia
Hall
February 5, 1957 – December 10, 2024
Sharon Hall, age 67, passed away on December 10, 2024, transitioning from this life into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Born Sharon Hickman on February 5, 1957, in San Diego, California, she was the beloved daughter of Rufus and Louise Hickman. At the time of her birth, Rufus was completing his service in the U.S. Navy. Shortly after, the family returned to their roots in Leggett, Texas, where Sharon flourished. It was here that she made lifelong friendships that would endure through the years. Known for her vibrant personality, Sharon was once dubbed "the hippest girl in town" and was voted "most humorous" in high school, where she left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
After graduating, Sharon pursued further education at the Chenier School of Business in Beaumont, Texas. She began her career in the medical field at a hospital in Livingston, Texas, and later in life began working in medical coding, claims resolution, and home care.
Sharon's first child was Shawn and a few years later Kristen was born.
A woman of faith, Sharon was a baptized child of God and a lifelong member of the Leggett Baptist Church. She found strength in her relationship with Jesus Christ. She had a deep love for bright colors, especially pink, Christian music, and sunflowers, which reflected her vibrant, joyful spirit.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Rufus and Louise Hickman and her daughter Kristen Hall. She is survived by her son, Shawn Yarbrough and his wife Tammy of Tomball, Texas; granddaughters Lillian and Lainey, also of Tomball; her brothers Gary Hickman and wife Cindy of League City, Texas, and Brian Hickman and wife Mary of Leggett, Texas; as well as her nephew Grant Hickman and wife Stacy of League City, Texas, along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Sharon's presence in this world will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
